Boob-staring good for men
Good article from the Star Online dated on 5th December 2009
Boob-staring good for men:
"HERE’s a simple “secret” to ensure longevity for men – stare at women’s breasts for 10 minutes a day to live an additional five years.
Both Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported that a German research published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that men ogling at breasts for 10 minutes a day was equivalent to a 30-minute gym workout.
Sin Chew Daily reported yesterday that the team had spent five years researching 200 men.
Results showed that men who liked to stare at women’s breasts have lower blood pressure, suffer less cardiovascular disease and have slower heart beat.

Perangi Ah Long

Why this super big insurance corporation deserve to collapse?
Yesterday i received a call by 'this super big insurance corporation' agent (lady) to congratulate me for signed up to their product when i bought AirAsia flight ticket through online a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks again for them for good PR.
After congratulate me she continue by introduce new protection plan. I just listen and listen to her explanation without much interruption. At the end of explanation, she said the policy will be couriered to my house address and i will start to pay next month. WHAT?...what i need to pay? when was i agree to the product? i asked her again when was i agree to the product? but she didn't answer and then asked me (again) wether i agree to the product or not? I answered boldly that i didn't agree to the offer. Now it about my turn to start explain to her what is good ethic in selling the product but she just put the phone.
Many of times, we understand that evolution in business is quite rapid and robust but please do not leave ethic values behind especially when you are a super big insurance corporation just like what i had counter yesterday. What happened if someone just listened and listened (pretending listen and understand) finally receive credit card bill with 'nice' outstanding balance. I didn't say they 're not telling truth but selling product this way is just unacceptable (at least for me)
This super big insurance corporation already have our detail particulars such as credit card number (even those 3 security digit at the back of your card). They only need we say 'yes' before proceed with the sale.
IS THIS THE REASON WHY THIS SUPER BIG INSURANCE CORPORATION IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE?

TNB turn red and IPPs lol
Watched the Buletin Utama and read online news that our sole power provider TNB for this country announced loss RM944 million in the 2nd quarter ended November 30 2008.
TNB also warned that it performance for the year will be worse than 2008.
Whom TNB warned? Government, us as customers or shareholder for it's own bad perfomance.
TNB possibly warned government that its revenue is already tight so do not try to cut the tariff.
TNB possibly warned customers that they have to maintain current rate (at least) so please do not dream of enjoying lower tariff.
BUT TNB cannot give a warning to our beloved corporations under the name of INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCERS (IPPs) that suck the money from TNB's pouches of 9.5bil for FY2008 and it will soar to 12bil this year eventhough demand for the power forecasted to drop this year due to economic slowdown. According to TNB, payment for these IPPs and fuel cost represent 60.5% of their operating cost.
Everybody knows that the main problem here is not foreign exchange or fuel cost but it's all about IPPs. Look like nobody can do anything with this IPPs.
Even our government can't do anything when they try to imposed windfall tax but eventually revoke after certain pressure put by certain parties mainly the financiers to this IPPs.
So who else can we give hope?
TNB claim loss because of forex exchange, weaker demand and fuel cost.

I support the idea of reading and understanding the Quran initiated by Nuriana A Samad here.

If having problem or grey area, please refer to the right person.
As a muslim, i have been trying my best all day and night reading and understand the contents of Quran as well as adhering to all the orders and put aside of what're being prohibited.
Hoping also that all muslim just don't stop reading by 14 February, continue it for the rest of your life and practice it.

2009 Resolution
For really-really long time not updating my blog.
Busy is always the reason i give for not updating my blog but i dont think so. Everything we do is always relate to the commitment we put or promise to put.
For 2009, i promise to commit certain amount of my time scratching this blog. Why i'm doing so if it could burden me and at last i feel guilty of not update it? ...everybody has reasons for that.
As for 2008, it have been thru smoothly in me..a lot of new thing happen and experience it and eventually had feel the effect.

Merapoh Pahang
We manage to snap few pixs while on travelling back to KL after hari raya's holiday. This long Q situation is quite normal for every kelantaneses who choose to drive by Gua Musang town heading Klang Valley.
If normal trip will take around 8 hour for 450km long journey (maybe shorter for Schumi's driving style drivers), for festive season like this it could be up to 12 hours.

How to avoid paying tol when using highway.........it's true
Before we go for the title above, i think many of us forgotten about the news below which was published in our mainstream newspapers around a few days after our fuel price at pump went up to RM2.70/litre for petrol Ron 97.
Any of you knows the outcome? or simply we can say Melayu Mudah Lupa.
-- Bernama, Reuters.
As for answer to the title let's look at the pictures below....I don't know whether it's a joke or not but i just came across this at Jln Duta Tol.

Which Cars Have the Best Gas Mileage?
Businessweek magazine reveal to us what's the best car in fuel consumption. Unfortunately, not all of these car sold/available in Malaysia market. Most of the car also run hybridly (mix of petrol and electric) which is still not familiar to our road due to high price and lack incentive from government so far. Toyota Prius 2008 (pix below) topping the chart with 46mpg (mile per gallon) (1 gallon equivalent to 4.5460 liter and 1 mile equivalent to 1.6 kilometre).
For a simple calculation, it's consume around 16 km per liter - as comparison my auto perodua myvi can run up to 14 km per liter.

addendum !!!...
click here for useful tips from the Guinness World Record holder for fuel efficiency, John and Helen Taylor.

Crazy Taxi in Russia Porsche & Maybach

spot the pixs at autoworld blog. how crazy the russians are?
In U.Kingdom, Porsche Cayenne sold between 36k - 75K while Maybach 62 priced around 290K pound sterling.
As for comparison, a middle class car such as brand new Honda Civic sold between 15k - 18k in U.K which is sold between RM113k-RM128 here in Malaysia.
So can you expect the price for the both (Porsche Cayenne have been seen on our road imported by grey importers)?
and can you expect the extent of craziness of Russians?

PROTON NEEDS SALES OF 250,000 ANNUALLY TO REMAIN WITHOUT PARTNER
How Proton would react to this news?
National car maker Proton will need to step up sales to about 250,000 units annually for it to remain independently viable, says an industry analyst. Proton will need a strategic partner in the next 3-5 years if it is not able to do this, said Frost & Sullivan head of automotive & transportation practice,Asia Pacific, Kavan Mukhtyar."The existing annual volume of around 100,000 units is financially a bit challenging for it to keep developing new models," he told a media briefing onthe auto industry's outlook for this year. Frost & Sullivan forecasts total industry sale volume in Malaysia to increase seven percent to 521,200 units this year from an estimated 487,000units in 2007.The growth will be driven by sales replacement cars, he said, adding that a substantial number of people who bought their vehicles between 2001 and 2003 maybe looking at replacing their cars in 2008. He said the consumers are more likely to replace their cars near the end of their loan period if their outstanding loans can be covered by the trade-in value of their vehicles.

OPS SIKAP
-memberi subsidi/pengurangan pelbagai cukai pembelian kereta terutama golongan berpendapatan rendah
> mengubah mindset mat rempit.

Bulan Ramadhan hampir meninggalkan kita.
